Dear Kindergarten Families,

Happy Spring!

So long to winter hopefully, but you know Michigan. Please make sure kids are dressed appropriately for all day especially the cold mornings we have. 

I am happy that so many participated in our Book it program.  Congratulations to Hermione Morales who completed reading logs for each month!

Well we are wrapping up with our consonant letter sounds and identification finishing with the letters Q and Z.  This month we will be looking at some of our short vowel sounds.  In math we have been exploring telling time by the hour.  Keep up the sight word practice as well!

 Thank you for supporting our Kindergarten round up.  It reminds me how far your students have progressed as wellJ.

We also will be having our 3rd annual Q and U wedding who are letter partners in words like Queen and Quick.  I invite kindergarteners to dress for the occasion in either Queen Attire or Quarterback gear (Jerseys, etc.) If you can help or volunteer please see Mrs. Calley or Mrs. LaChance
